D-Limonene is a natural solvent extracted from orange, lemon, and other orange peels. It has a fresh lemon flavor and is widely used as a natural flavor in skin care products and perfumes. It can effectively dissolve various greases and dirt and is therefore widely added to cleaning products. Instead of chemical dissolving agents, its fragrance also has the effect of repelling mosquitoes.
